sometimes u hear people talk about this album and ur like "damn it can't be that good" but then u listen to it and it actually just is that good

i dont know that its fair for me to rate this album because mitski is an artist who if i want to listen to, i need to be in a very specific mood and state and situation in my life, and thats just not where i am right now (thank god)
i like this album, and i think its much better than her last one, but i think some of the production and mixing choices are strange and put me off from listening to this again

almost all of the songs start out interesting then slowly devolve into slop, which makes me really sad cs i do think the production and instrumentals and the DRUMMING on this album all had incredible potential
its been a while since ive been this genuinely blown away by a project
im genuinely disappointed by the amount of people who didnt give the album a listen / had preconceived notions b4 listening cs of the album cover... its actually beyond funny and silly and also her writing is DISGUSTINGLY relatable like u rlly need to be in a shitty talking stage w a stupid man to get it
