I love all Car Seat Headrest, but this has always been my personal favorite of their discography. Why? Because it's so reminiscent of early Modest Mouse in every way from the lyrical content to the instrumentation to the low-key production. I love that era of MM, and this EP, which is more album than EP but that gets a pass from me, is a perfect adaptation of late 90s early 00s Mouse into the 2010s.
