Why do I, one of the most emo individuals I know, find the music of Tedeschi Trucks Band so comforting? The answer is still unclear, but there's something about Susan's vocals and Derek's twangy guitars that feels warm and homely. This album is exactly that. It isn't innovative in any way, nor is it their best work, but man, does it feel good to listen to.
