The low moments don't arrive that often -- by and large, the album is quite engaging -- but they happen frequently enough to make the record a demonstration of the band's blossoming ability, but not the fulfillment of their full potential.

The trio's bright, wired bounce and the shell-game shuffle of funk beats, snappy Jamaican rhythms and mosh-pit, shout-it-out choruses in Nowell's writing – that's the stuff of a band with great promise and the confidence to make good on it. If only that were still possible.

‘Sublime’, quite simply, sounds like a band having a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, Sublime coheres more on an intellectual rather than emotional level, its sound too diffuse to be dramatic.

Party classic, Everyone loves it except shut-in curmudgeon trolls.

There's a lot of Sublime hate. Why..? Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I see some reviews absolutely ripping apart this album with actual hate and anger and I'm not sure why lol. I just think that this album is really fun, it has some really nice vibes and nostalgia to it, and overall a lot of these songs I can just sing along to and bop my head. The lyrics are also really funny a lot of the time, and some actually tell interesting stories. ... read more

This album is pretty good... for the first half. The second half has way worse songs, the drop off in this feels really weird. But overall, it was a decent album

A very fun album but not every song really keeps my attention.
But overall i think the vibe is good enough that it doesn't matter that much and the popular songs are popular for a reason on this album

This is def 1 of those albums where you need to let the songs grow on you a bit, but very few tracks sounded unique enough from the rest of the songs on this protect for me to want to go back to them.
