Am I the only one that didn’t realize how big Malcolm Todd is? I don’t mean this in any negative way, but he’s only a couple million streams behind Tyler the Creator. Anyway, Malcolm Todd is back with his sophomore album, “Do That Again.” I really like the production here. Particularly when he plays his guitar. It really stabilizes the sensual vibe he’s very clearly going for here. You can also very clearly get that vibe from the lyrics. For lack of a better ... read more
Yet another enjoyable Freddie Gibbs album. Nothing necessarily noteworthy just three very solid songs. Naturally, I’m going to be left wanting more when it’s a nine minute. Just a fun short project from Freddie here that doesn’t have anything I’d immediately go back to.

God this album was so inoffensive. It’s pretty basic trap that doesn’t do anything special. The songs also all tend to sound pretty similar which led to this whole album blending together. His vocal delivery just does nothing for me. It’s not bad, just feels like he doesn’t want to be here. That’s what most of the issues of this project are describable as. No limits were pushed here. It feels like LUCKI made this album to fill some form of quota. Not for the love ... read more
