mostly a covers album but to be honest i think i am starting to get tired of the constant flood of music from the former black dresses members

has some nice highlights, needled 24/7 is a children of bodom cover that goes over insanely well with some bonkers orchestra hit synths and a great stompy groove

hmmmm i think im just kind of getting fatigued on this band. when they released their debut i was really amazed by it, it felt really up-my-alley and original, this hooky, downcast grunge with buried vocals and a really literate lyrical style that's nakedly honest about depression and turbulent times

and now theyve just released two more very brief projects of that without any real shakeups and without really matching the quality of the debut

nice while it's on but pretty unchallenging. some cool drumless and quiet-drum instrumentals, but nothing thats going to blow your mind

i listened to this while driving back from the airport extremely tired and it was lush and nicely engineered and performed, and nothing more

about exactly what i expected and theres nothing wrong with that!
