Honestly, I think this album is getting more hate than it deserves...but it deserves a lot of hate.
At first listen, I thought this album was trash, but after the 2nd and 3rd listen, it grew on me from like a 30 to now a 58/100. The beat production was probably the best part, but it's nothing innovative like Ye's previous albums. The beats selection reflects 21's performance on this album - fun to listen to, intriguing at times, but soon lacks variety and flattens out.
21 is vulnerable and introspective on this album, which is what makes the project engaging and promising in terms of creativity.
