such a momentous and perfect song that captures everything I love about the 1989 era. I really think this is some of her best songwriting ever and is so indicative of her genius
Carried HARD by the first few and last few tracks. I actually don't mind the more pop-forward sound from Poppy, as I liked her metal releases but this was cool too. It really gets bogged down in the middle though with some terribly simple writing (1s + 0s, Flicker, title track) but there are some immensely catchy tunes here like Knockoff, Hard, and Motorbike. They always get stuck in my head at work and it feels like they'll be there a while

I must admit that I haven't really dived into Janelle's discog, after all these years of seeing so much love for her, so I'd love to hear someone rave about it to get some insights and thoughts on her music in general!
