Honestly, the song isn't that bad, and it's far better than anything off 143. Could've been worst. I'd probably come back to this in the future, probably wouldn't.
I've been hearing this since like 5:20pm in my timezone, and GODDAMN this is a fucking masterpiece of an album. I felt so immersed the whole time, and I honestly couldn't put it down until like 11pm cause it was that fucking phenomenal. I'll share more of my thoughts later, but just know... BANGER!!!!
Going from a rock sound then back to pop music is an insane choice but I respect it because she still brings energy to this project that I enjoy. Solid album!
what do i have to say about drag path other than that it's their best song to date and it's criminal that it's not on streaming.
I personally think "Deadbeat" is Kevin's weakest album to date. It begins promising with a great opener like "My Old Way", before it eventually drags during the middle of the album, with songs like "Ethereal Connection" being one of Kevin's most boring songs to listen to... It ends pretty... okay with the lead single "End Of Summer". Production is pretty good but it's not as good as his previous records and, to be honest, not a lot of ... read more
Doja Cat brings us another banger of an album, this time with 80s pop being the highlight! Dude, I vibed out the whole time, I'm literally gonna run it back just to dance to it. Listen... my thing is if Jack Antonoff could produce this, why can't he put the same effort that he did for this album into other musicians he produces for? #noticing
Really enjoyable listen, there is some songs that I felt like didn't need a placement (that Lizzo song) BUT it felt like she practically got everything that she had to get off of her chest since Invasion of Privacy.
The Life of a Showgirl starts off promising before ending up like her two previous albums, mostly boring with occasional good / decent songs sprinkled throughout the project. Just doesn't make sense how she said, I'm paraphrasing, it resembles her previous pop albums when I didn't get any of that at all except towards the back-end of the album with "Wi$h Li$t", "Wood" & "CANCELLED!" being songs that feel like they could've been on ... read more
i was writing a full length review, but i never got the chance to finish it. but all i want to say about this album is that it's fucking amazing top to bottom. i even prefer this over clancy, and i believe it's the best way they could've finished the 10 years of lore they've built up. getting to hear this album early at a listening parties, then that momentum building up of "goddd i need to hear these songs in higher quality BLASTED in my ears".... it was worth the ... read more
As much as I enjoy the song, it's really the bridge that brings the song down for me. It's a SLAPPER though.
Even though I didn't like Manchild, I still expected some good quality coming from her and I came out of this album pretty disappointed. It's DEFINITELY not on the same level as Short & Sweet. I give her credit because the songs are still good to Sabrina's standards, but it left me wanting more out of her that's different because it felt like each song were rehashing off of each other. Compared to S&S, there was only like three memorable songs that I can see myself ... read more
After several listens, this is definitely one of my favorite songs by Twenty One Pilots. The ending to this song is fucking insane to me, and Josh Dun's vocals on the bridge transitioning to a Tyler scream? FUCKING amazing.
It's a cool project, but compared to his previous efforts, it's not AS memorable as his previous projects.
"MY BITCH UGLY!" - Westside Gunn
I personally think The Forever Story is better, but this was really enjoyable from top to bottom. He just can't miss.
update: (84 --> 91)
Holy shit, a lot of the songs grew on me like crazy. Definitely in the top 5 of the best albums to come out this year.

og review:
Personally, it's not my favorite Tyler album by means, he HAS some better projects but this from top to bottom was fucking great. There's a lot of moments on this album where I'm like floored, and there was some moments of this album that I felt could've been done without, thought it's not that ... read more
First half was fucking outrageous, but the second half ends up carrying most of the time despite some bumps here and there. Plus, most of the highlights to me were the features. Kodak Black fucking SLIDDDD on that last song.
