(#15) Lemme xplain gang, jeez.
So, I thought it was time to listen to the universally acclaimed album, The Dark Side of The Moon. And going into this I was very excited. However, goddamn this album was kinda meh. I mean, I can see why people like this album, but it has so much filler. It feels just very disconnected. The social concepts aged terribly, for example on the track Money. I just don’t see the hype when listening to the album twice in a row.
I always saw this album in the ... read more
(S#4) Good days for another good single from Tarul.
It’s pretty good, and this time the mixing is much more balanced. The production also adds much charm to the shoegaze inspired identity of the track. Good job man, keep up the good work.
(#14) bro zesty as hell. 🍾
Its trash. Its actually the worst thing I’ve listened to this year. Worse than the Carter 6. That’s how bad this record is. There is nothing good about this record, and its so bland. This album wants me to jump off a cliff. Its that bad. On top of that, Drake is one the album and he did not save this at all. Just do not listen. I don’t wanna spend time with this at all.

(#S3) Tarul, my man, you did a damn good job.
Ok, with all the context that I know about this, Tarul you did your concept with justice. For shoe-gaze itself, it is important to see the level of balance within the production, to which you did perfectly. There are some parts, where the production can be overbearing compared to the lyrics, which may take away from the experience itself.
But genuinely, besides the mixing, the lyrics (listened twice) showed the care you put inti the song. I was ... read more
(#13) I legit thought this album was the Swans LP, I was completely wrong.
6-17-2025 Ok, here we go again with the hot take. I know many want me to put this higher but I can’t out it above Magic, Alive! But genuinely this album reminded me of old production by Kanye. It is just pretty satisfying for this album to recreate this sound. It is pretty consistent, but what’s leaving thins behind is the fact that the tracks feel too similar in the grand scope of things. And while I think ... read more
(#12) MAGDALENA BAY, more like PLEASE DROP MORE MUSIC IN ME- wait wat…
6-17-2025 I think this album was the agglomeration of 2024, as much of everybody came together to love this album. And rightfully so. During 2024, there was BRAT, and while I think BRAT was good, I was team Magdalena bay and Imaginal Disk. I dunno, BRAT just struck me a little less than ID. And with this thing, I’ve listened to Imaginal Disk at least 25 times. It’s a great addiction.
Firstly, I’m ... read more
(#11) I feel like I am on a playful vacation. It is just that creative and on many levels, it is just that soothing.
Almost to the level of a spiritual, it just feels so in touch within the confines of Lafourcade’s range and beauty. The bliss within the music, deserves to be understood. While not on the level of De Todas Las Flores, it still has lots of soul and spirit put within it. It is just that defyingly beautiful, that the sounds of her album feels so natural.
Cancionera was just ... read more
(#10) Lil Tecca saves the summer once again!! 🔥 🍷
Classy Lil Tecca comes back with some really enjoyable tracks and is quite bouncy. I was surprised because I just got into Tecca’s sound because of the singles, Dark Thoughts, which was a great track with a great hook, and OWA OWA, which while not as strong, still gave me a good appreciation for Tecca’s sound in its entirety.
Something that I appreciate about Tecca is his transitions, which are quite satisfying as well. The ... read more
(#9) So 🌽 is good for you. Great.
Its quite amazing, I think 🌽 is really good for you. The absolute energy from the project really shines through. The instrumentation is godly, and just enjoyable straight through. So The 🌽 crumpets can explode Australia. Great to know. Understandably the record is quite exciting though, despite the flaws of length as well.
All the production is quite playful, and they all have a quite interesting identity. It just has everything that makes a ... read more
(#8) Oh Yeah, this is some ARCANE SH*T.
Welp, I got jumpscared by the first track. But besides that, it is a consistent prog death record. I was intrigued by the cover, but this album, unlike LINCOLN LOG SWEATSHOP, was so much better put together. On top of that, the energy really doesn’t stop building the hell out the floor. It is just that exciting.
However, what takes this record away is how similar it is to each other, it just feels to connected, but in general the tracks sound ... read more
(#7) The Dog is staring at my eyes, but this album feels like pop music. 🐶
I can already tell this project is just to be “pop listenable”, like a UNIQLO album. It just feels so enjoyable, that there feels like there’s no deeper concept within the album. I appreciate the catchy production on the record, just don’t appreciate that the lyrics are quite primitive.
It is still quite listenable, I just find it quite boring despite the catchy beats. Which got my feet ... read more
(#S2) QUADECA IS BACK IN BUSINESS AND HE CREATED ONE OF THE BEST SINGLES YOU COULD IMAGINE.
One of the aspects of this track is that, it is so beautiful and feels like pure bliss. Quadeca going from the rap heavy past, and actually coming out of the cocoon dropping a beautiful, ballad, which reminds me so much of a church piano, or something I’d hear in church. NO CAP I ACTUALLY CRIED DURING THIS that intro was just that strong.
On top of the heaviness, this just sent chills throughout ... read more
(#6) THEY CAN DO IT WITH NO HANDS, NO WAY????!?????! 🔥 🔥
Another album that was on the other account that just didn’t have a good enough review. First of all, BEASTIE BOYS influence with the explosiveness of a damn nuke just makes this album so satisfying. Footnote: its fire 🔥
The way their production feels like 2000’s hip hop just makes this album so nostalgic, on top of the copious amounts of hits like THE BADDEST, PACKAPUNCH, BUSSIT, OK, and OMNITRIX are just so ... read more
(#S1) JVB AND JPEGMAFIA GETTING OUT OF THIS BUSSY BUSSY!!!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
First single review on this account. I just have to say how fun this track is. Just EXPLOSIVE, and on top of the JPEG verse puts this on top. Its so simple that it feels so satisfying. Just the cherry on top, people are gonna be shouting this in the club. I’m literally crashing out in my room by how good this is
(#5) Let me ascend, please. 🙏
6-16-2025 Take me and my soul to the sky. This is another album I did a brief but terrible review on my first account, but this is a more extensive review, with me being a little bit more mature. 💨 🌬️
First of all context, Mac Miller is one of the best rappers who was on a great run dropping projects like Faces, Swimming, and Circles. Mac Miller’s friends and company helped to create this post-mortem album to honor Mac. And they did a flawless ... read more
(#4) Ooooooh SPOOKY!!????👻
6-16-2025 But on some reality sh*t this is pretty good, ominous, and a nice atmosphere. First acoustic rock listen, throughly enjoyed this bruh. I was always into some Radiohead type, but this is great too.
Firstly, this album has a nice direction with its sound, and it just has the aspects that connect the album together. Its ominous and mysterious, and the very close to home guitar acoustic adds a really nice rounded sound to the album. I had to describe it as ... read more
(#3) I reviewed this album on my main account, but on the relisten, damn, It hit just as hard as before. It just breaks my heart to see a great project and great artist get stopped so early into the career. 🐈 😞
6-16-2025 For context, this project back in 2023 was one of the most beloved projects of that year, and still is today, and the context is that the artist who was backing bl4ck m4rket c4t had died I think around the age of 18. Many saw it very disheartening to see a great artist ... read more
(#2) I FEEL ALIVE!!!!!!!!!
McKinley Dixon releases another tight knit piece of work. After Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!? I was very excited to see Dixon’s work flourish even more, this was a great example of good artists pushing the boundaries, and this project is the spiritual jazz masterpiece.
The main themes of the album was the idea of resurrection and the bringing of life of (I’m assuming a friend of which Dixon writes about) and that death does really get to you, but death is ... read more
(#1) (FIRST ALBUM ON A FRESH ACCOUNT) You know how stepping on legos feels like, I imagined the amount of pain trying to fully listen to this album. I understand that Sleepyhead is a very prized artist, but this album made me rethink life in the wrong way smh.
