This album is no-nonsense and absolutely gorgeous--Kali Uchis knew what she wanted this album to sound like, and then she made it. There's no one else in pop (save maybe Lana Del Rey) that is doing what she's doing, and even then, Kali Uchis has an aesthetic all her own. I REALLY like this album. Look, some people (I'm looking at you Pitchfork) are criticizing this album for being shallow, but to me, it shows that Kendrick is versatile. Fuck this album is so good. First of all, there's nobody else in music that's doing what Charli XCX is doing. Second of all, I want to inject this album into my fucking veins. The production is immaculate and I would absolutely go to a rave where nothing but this album is playing. Favorites include Sympathy Is A Knife, I Might Say Something Stupid, Talk Talk, Von Dutch, Everything Is Romantic, Mean Girls, b2b, and 365
