This monster album does something better then most albums half its length do it stays consistent all the way through. The tone, the themes, the instrumentation all work with each other to create a, well, melancholy sound.

If there is one weakness that holds this back from perfection, it is the half baked bits that are hidden in the track listing. Now, you will go an hour without hearing one, which is an amazing accomplishment.
