21 Savage returns with his new album with a really wacky album cover. Going into this, I was really scared given the recent results that have come out of the mainstream rap scene recently, but I was pleased when the first song was actually listenable and the production wasn't terrible. Split on this. Young Thug definitely fell off significantly and some of these songs are absolutely terrible, like Mami, and Whoopty Doo, and there are a lot of underwhelming songs. Some highlights are Pardon My Back, Walk Down, Pipe Down, Money on Money, and On the News with Cardi B; but some of these are pretty strong and might be things I come back to. Overall pretty underwhelming, but not as bad as some claim.

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper

I think this is the best album of all time.

I'm being completely serious. I've spun it through seven times since it's release, and it keeps getting better and better. It's really remarkable to see Quadeca's whole transformation as an artist and I think all these soundscapes he's delving into are only improving his artistry and our listening experiences.
