Shout out to the Droptines for trying some really interesting things on this album, particularly on the opening track, which had me hooked instantly. Some concepts don't work as well as others, but I want to encourage more country artists to make shit that sounds weird
Great second effort from MUNA here. Eastside girls is a bop, although won't get to the silk chiffon level. They aren't afraid to speak their minds, which I commend them for. Ultimately I think the second half of the album starts to drop off a bit in quality, but not enough for me to turn it off
