Songs About Leaving is a rare kind of album. It's beautiful and deeply depressing in equal measure. It’s no easy listen, and it’s not something I ever have on repeat, but each time I return to it, it leaves a lasting impression.
Black Country, New Road continue to reinvent there sound with Forever Howlong. It's another incredible abum from a band that, as it turns out, may only just be getting started.
At first, individual songs on Ceres and Calypso in the Deep Time can blur together feeling almost too similar. But something about Candy Claws ethereal and dreamy sound kept pulling me and now I can't get enough.
