Wow, that was so much worse than expected. I enjoyed their Hot EP and a couple other songs from them so I thought to give this a listen, and man this was horrible. Beside the inclusion of some countries (we all know who I'm talking about) and the horrible results, this year had an amazing collection of songs, one of the best years imo

I wouldn't say the song is too bad, but it definitely CANNOT stand on it's own, it's too short and not interesting enough to stand alone as a single, it needs the backing of an album to lift it up

A good thing about it is that it's more cohesive than her debut that had singles from years earlier before the album was released making it loose any distinctive sound that it had. It actually picks up in the second half, but the first half is mostly unoriginal and boring. The best song is definitely Like Animals. There is 0 passion behind this album, just hopes to gather money, it doesn't feel like a big comeback either, it just feels like a tired group that lost all passion for music dropped something to feed the fans and their wallets.

It's sad to see Poppy falling into making soulless music, Empty Hands and Negative Spaces just sound empty, it doesn't sound like she enjoys making music as much as she did before, you cannot hear any passion in it, every single song sounds unoriginal, I would recommend skipping this one, you won't miss much. It's not a bad album, I do see myself listening to some songs, but I also see myself lowering the rating as time goes on

I appreciate the fact that there's a theme and a story in this project, but it's executed very poorly with the fact that so many of the tracks in this EP are just interludes, as the project goes on and it's just interlude after interlude and short songs that can barely reach 2 minutes it just gets boring, not even the songs are interesting enough to pull you out of that boredom, every single song sounds pretty unoriginal.

GENUINELY one of the worst songs I've heard in my life

This could've been a really great album if it wasn't for the inclusion of her old singles and if she experimented a bit more with different sounds. The album overall has a theme to it, a villainous slightly dark theme, but the inclusion of her old singles doesn't blend in this theme at all, they don't feel like they belong and they're scattered all over the LP.

Cool song, something different from the artist, the vocals are really good, the instrumental isn't anything groundbreaking but it's fine, but what really makes this song lower on an enjoyable factor is the runtime, at barely over 2 minutes the song ends before you get used to it

This truly feels like the future. I listened to this when it first came out and I'm still not over it, there are so many groundbreaking huge moments in this album and switch ups, her vocals are insane and the production is just perfect, couldn't ask anything more from it, the song order could've been changed here and there but it's not that big of a deal, definitely deserves a listen, Billie's best album yet

Underrated. Everyone had high expectations after Future Nostalgia and when they weren't met they quickly jumped to calling it bad, if go into it expecting ok lyrics with a lot of energy and summer vibes, you'll have a good time
