Really well executed, clear with it’s inspirations but still has her own swag written all over it. very epic
re-listened to this on public transport on a heavy day , had to refrain from giving it 100/100
from the perspective of a Flume album i think this is brilliant. Going into it as a peggy fan i can understand disappointment. For me i loved it >.>
One of the best albums of the 70s. Simultaneously bridging rock and roll, punk and pop of the time, the album goes on a 19 track run of passionately performed songs that keeps all the rebellious energy from past Clash records. One of my favourite albums of all time from one of my favourite bands of all time.
Combining rage and hyper/glitch/ trap production, this album is BADASSSSSSS
The RZA, the GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Ghostface Killah, the Method Man, Raekwon the Chef, the Masta Killa. All nine members of Wu-Tang deliver hungry and powerful performances that feed off each other effortlessly. The group’s grimy and playful lyricism coupled with RZA’s raw east coast ‘blow the speakers out’ production style leads to hip hop anthem after hip hop anthem. It would be crazy to not give this album the highest rating possible

So much energy so much attitude. Sick as fuck album, makes me want to jump into a WWE table
Soccer Mommy delivers an album that is so much more than a bedroom pop banger. Every track leaves you more enamoured with Soccer Mommy’s melancholically soft vocals The album as a whole flow’s beautifully. The instrumentation shines through it’s understated simplicity and ability to compliment the themes of self identity throughout the album. Unlike other releases within the genre, every guitar riff, drum loop or synth sounds like it could only work so with the vocal ... read more
