I came into Habibti with high expectations, especially after enjoying Iceman. This is just singing Drake, and he's done this before, better.
The production is fine. No huge issues, but nothing out of this world either. It's safe, it's smooth, it's exactly what you'd expect from a Drake R&B project in 2026. Rocky tries to juggle too many genres, and they all end up sounding painfully average. "Punk Rocky" isn't even a punk song; it’s just... weird. "STFU" was the only track I skipped entirely. Furthermore, "Stole Ya Flow" does a terrible job at subtly dissing Drake; if anything, it ... read more
