Jon Bellion - FATHER FIGURE

This is what happens when you give an incredibly talented and passionate man the ability to create art at the highest quality. This is the most I've felt from "pop" music or even music in general as the industry is drifting to brainless elevator music. Jon deserves a hundred million listeners, and this album will catapult him undoubtedly.

Breach is similar to Clancy in how the first half of the album hits harder than the rest, but the rest stand on their own regardless. This album feels like a love letter to the Vessel days, with more synth-pop and alternative vocal styles, and I can't say it doesn't make me love it more. Breach is a great way to close out a decade-long lore run, especially with Intentions, which brought me back to when I first listened to them. Overall, a beautiful span of their discopgraphy.

Clancy is a return to form, not letting us forget what made Twenty One Pilots so big. The First half of the album is non-stop bangers, with some of my favorite songs from them ever. The rest is fairly good, but I could tell on my first listen, there wasn't as much time and effort put in to them as some prior albums. Which made me realize this was not, in-fact, the last album in the lore. Regardless, a fun part 1

twenty one pilots - Scaled and Icy

Scaled and Icy doesn't try to be a 10 out of 10 album. It is exactly what it is. Besides the obvious lore meaning, scaled and icy is a step back from the progressive alternative sound, and moves into the light of an upbeat, poppier sound. It gives us some of their catchiest and most fun songs in their, agreeably rich discography. A breather between the heavy lore-centered records. Some solid bops.

twenty one pilots - Trench

Twenty One Pilot's Trench breaks what an album should be, combining dozens of genres while keeping a consistent tone throughout. A major push forward in the lore while giving us some of the best songs in their discography. This album touches on some of the darkest and most vulnerable themes while carrying a comfort. An absolute perfect example of how making whatever you want but keeping the passion can work
