glaive - God Save The Three

this is really fun man, did not expect the lot of acoustic cuts to hit home as much as they did. I find myself liking glaive on acoustic a little more when he is doing it with kurtains. Kurtains has always been killer on acoustics or non-digital sounding instrumentals in my opinion and he is killing it here again. I really really like this album :P

Tiffany Day - HALO

okay LOOK, I really do LIKE this album. the only downside I have is that even though she switched up her sound (which is amazing btw, I love this shit), all the songs on here sound kinda really the same. does not mean they are bad, I love most songs on here but like, it was really low stakes yk? still very cool :D

underscores - U

literally no skips. I do think the singles were chosen well as they kind of have the most replay value but the whole album is basically perfect. maybe artists should start chipping down their albums to lesser songs but no skips. this is literally a perfect 9 track run

whole aesthetic is super cool, it just feels so fun listening to this, genuinely wow, I O U or sth like that

Joey Valence & Brae - HYPERYOUTH (afterparty)

actually love the new songs alot, like it feels alot like an afterparty

Joji - Piss In The Wind

I do like the way this album sounds. like a lot. I am going to start with what really bugs me though.

I would not say there is one song I dislike but just the fact that there are so many songs that seem rather difficult to remember or that stick out lyrically from the others, makes this just very difficult to rate as a full cohesive album. I do not hate the short nature of the songs, but there are lots of short ones which just do nothing special. some of them sound like nectar b sides. one ... read more

I kinda rly fw this, it makes me feel like I am losing it

what is your name? - the now now and never

first listen was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had. I listened to this album thrice a day, and I genuinely want to give it a 100 because the way it made me feel was so unbelievably special. genuinely, wow.

Jane Remover - ♡

literally loved all 4 songs that came out last year, especially dream sequence and magic I want you, so seeing her return to this type of genre kinda caught me offguard. love the new 2 tracks, especially with the self sample on so what, shit is just so cool man.

aldn - Strung Out Symphony
83

this was heartbreaking, before I get to the album itself tho, I need to make something clear.

rollout was messy asf, I kinda appreciate how weird it was and how much it was using this bloody and greasy murdery topic as a leitmotif for covers, promotion, but it still made me feel uneasy.

3 out of the 5 singles felt really similar in sound, which is okay, for a consistent album like this but sequencing wise dropping them all as singles and putting them back to back in the album is a bit weird ... read more

glaive - Y'all

glaives best one, I think. I love the singles, I love a lot of the new ones. especially

crying loving laughing lying
it is what it is
veni vidi vici
bluebirds
and modafinil

glaive u did it, again! hope to see u tour again!

Dominic Fike - Rocket
83

melancholy and fun little ideas for this one I think. First listen was cool, even though I love dom I wouldnt say this is my fav but I really like that it feels so raw. It feels like demos, again. Idk about the songs being this short though.

favs:

Sandman
Great Pretender
One Glass
Quite The Opposite
Still Feel It

EDEN - Dark
87

I really like this.

You were able to see this with ICYMI and now we are seeing it with dark too, EDEN knows how to make me bounce and cry at the same time

I love the way this sounds so digital but also so raw yk

idk what comes next but this one was a cool one, I really liked this one on my first listens

Jeremy Zucker - Garden State

I think I get that this album is the feeling of warmness, coziness and feeling of nostalgia, being loved, being scared of the future, being excited about the future, growing up, coming home and all of those things

but it is just musically so obnoxiously boring. like brent iii I feel nothing when I listen to jeremy zuckers music, and that is maybe something I dont share with many people but for once, I say I find an artists older songs cooler, musically more appealing than 14 songs sounding ... read more

Kevin Abstract - Blush
80

first listen this is really freaking cool, solo dom song, solo danny song, SOLO QUAD song, kevins parts are really nice, i love love spells, cool parts by the rest. One thing that bugs me is that kevin really is a bit underrepresented even though it is his album. but yeah, blush is a group and its a collective work album.

kurtains - sandy nevermore

liking this one even more than the ep before! acoustic into more digital into a whole mj groove wooaaaa ss03

kmoe - K1
90

the deadair effect (no fr kmoe just grew up so much as an artist i cant even describe how much i like this album wow)

Jane Remover - Revengeseekerz
90

wow
only negative thing I can say is that the soundscape of breaking glass, palkia, sonic exe and jarring noises bloats the ears sometimes.
for like 2min too much.
rest is gas. pure gas
