A powerful, earnest little album with an effective blend of bombastic rock headbangers and gentler, vulnerable songs about the pains of girlhood and unrequited love. Songwriting is emotionally raw without feeling overly angsty and riddled with effective imagery. Easily deserving of far more love and mainstream success than it's received. long live lesbianism
Sad anime boy is 3/3 for making albums that leave me sobbing
A huge stylistic departure from his previous work. Jumps around stylistically from song to song, which is a bit jarring, but considering the subject matter stays consistent throughout the album I don't mind. My only real problem with this album is that a few songs are simply too short. Knock Yourself Out XD , Perfect Pinterest Garden, and Is There Really No Happiness? all end a bit too abruptly for my taste and could stand an ... read more
