The worst album of all time. Everything is shit, monotonous and mind gratingly boring. Its shallow, has horrible mixing, shit vocals, uninteresting songwriting, horrendous lyrics and the worst fan base of all time. No fun, no wisdom, no experimentation. I cannot think of a single thing in this entire album i found more enjoyable than jerking of with a cheese grater, i would rather drink 10 liters of cow urine followed by eating 400 excrement covered pig fetuses than listen to this unfathomably ... read more
i don't usually rate singles but this is to peak not to rate. i love makoto kubota
this sounds like unimaginably immense distress and impending doom that no one is doing anything about nor have the power to do anything about resulting in utter annihilation of everything.
bricklayers really outdid themselves on this one. Great deep texture on the walls and great layers of brick.
After quite some time and a bit of a break i am done with the Les Rallizes Dénudés live archive. This is a massive collection of bootlegs collected by rym user idiotwholikesprog.
Les Rallizes Dénudés has been an obsession of mine for a bit now, and it has led me to this 42-hour archive of live shows. It documents the band's changes throughout their on-and-off career in such an intricate way through the dramatically varying sound quality, the audience oddities, ... read more
How to get ahead in the "neofolk" scene:
-Wear an idiotic "brutal" costume (camo jump suit and carnival mask recommended)
-Use nazi regalia "ironically". For example make the tottenkopf your official logo, sample fascist marches, etc.
-Claim you're really on the left
-Thrive on the "controversy" that ensues and make a fuckload of money selling your comatose fuckass music
although the music may be good i find it incredibly hard to "Separate the ... read more
this is my introduction to feldman and i already feel the feldmanisation of my ears happening.
The use of repetition in this composition is unimaginably beautiful, it manages to create such a haunting and intriguing soundscape unlike anything ive ever heard. Definitely looking forward to getting into more feldman compositions.
I went into this expecting it to be alot more noisy since all my previous exposure to keiji haino has been very noisy, however unlike my expectation it ended up sounding more psychedelic rock rather than noise rock. The album also had way more structure than what i expected. I find this album way less harsh than other japanese noise rock albums and instead of the hellish noise instrumentals found in many albums of the same genera 1st's instrumentals can be described as a beautiful ballad ... read more
Very underated gothic rock album. Its vocal style and instrumentals make for an ethereal feel that is very uniqe. The guitar work is done so well and has such a fitting tone to the ghostly feel of the rest of the album.
pretty boring and doesn't really explore any new ideas as well as being quite repetitive.
i prefer this to chaos is me. Great riffs and crazy vocals.
crazy chaotic and beautiful. I really cannot describe how mind-blowing this album is. Every sound feels thought out yet it still manages to be chaotic and the long improvisations and drones are just otherworldly. once you listen to the entire album the length feels more like a pro rather than a con. They should make this album longer.
cockroaches is great, amazing lyricism across the entire album and never a boring riff.
one of the best jazz albums out there, known by all who listen to jazz and it deserves to be this known. Nothing about this album is bad or dull. I can't say anything that hasn't already been said.
