very raw and very comforting
Despite how simplistic this album is it never loses its human warmth and touch. The album absorbs the sound around it and makes it a part of itself, the sound of my computer hums along quite musicaly and the sound of the city becomes part of the piece. perfect in musical buildup and evolution. With most post-rock albums i find it hard to remember where a song starts and ends but the instrumentals are kept simple enough to a point where it is easy to follow. Part 1 consists of 2 repeating guitar lines where one is slightly faster than the other causing them to loop over one another. After a while everything is consumed in a distorted sound .
