Embo beach. An incredibly important and magical place to me. It was my last night staying there, and I was standing on the veranda looking out to the North Sea with Norway directly in front of me. My headphones were on, and I was listening.

Well, if there's one thing I can say about Boris, it's that they're one of the most unique musical groups I've discovered this year. I've checked out 2 of their albums (Pink and Feedbacker) and they were equally fantastic in their own ways. Pink was filled with heavy metal bangers while Feedbacker was a spine-chilling noise rock experience that genuinely freaked me out. A calmer album from boris, but is even more potent than usual. They really managed to make this work well. Flood part 2 is also one of the best tracks ever.
when i first listened to this album i kind of just thought it was some okay drone but i continue to find myself going back to it and has over the last few months become easily my favorite drone project.
