On Heavy Rocks, Boris mostly kick out the jams, making it one of the easiest entry points into the band's massive, fathoms-deep catalog.

Sick thick and heavy stoner riffs and fast punky tempos, it's a very consistent record quality-wise. Not much stands out about the songs individually on first listen but it all adds up to a great listening experience, it really excels at providing a punky stoner atmosphere. I haven't listened to any other Boris, but judging by other reviews on here and RYM, this is one of their most accessible.
