Don’t get me wrong, this album is extremely cool and the guitar riffs are brutal and amazing along with the horrifying vocals, however I could not imagine the level of paranoia I would get if I smoked to this

I wonder if this band likes weed probably not though. This album at only 8 songs definitly did not disappoint me at all i did have some high expectations for some insane stoner metal and it did meet a bit of those expectations which was amazing, such as the songs Greenthumb and 666Ib. Bongsession those songs were definitly the highlight for me from the song structure and the songwriting and the overall music in general. My main flaw is the vocals i didn't really like them but i suppose ... read more

Pure Weed bong hit transplant ass music. All of these tracks are so grinding in their fuzz and instrumentation however with some pretty psychadelic sections to boot. It all definitely sounds exactly lilr the cover and man what a cover that is. This album also felt way longer than it axtually is mostly provably definitely brcause jts stoner metal but maybe because a lot of these tracks do go on for a very long time wirhout adding to much onto themselves HOWEVER they all sound incredible so who ... read more

fuzzy as fuuuuuuck. lives up to everything that both the band name and the album cover convey. ridiculous guitar tone, bassy as all hell, with great drums and insane vocals to boot. really everything you could want from a band called bongzilla. keeps up the doom tradition of kickass long songs that are engaging and fun to listen to through and through. 666lb bongsession FUCKS.

BRIEF REVIEW

My main takeaways from this album are that: Bongzilla knows how to write some sick ass stoner sludge, and they reallllllly love weed. I think.

The riffing on here is so heavy, and as for the guitar tone itself—it's damn near perfect. The drums provide an absolutely generational groove as the backbone for the whole record's rhythm. The rare vocal showcases on here feel like another instrument rather than a centerpiece. This album does such a great job with ... read more

Highlights: Greenthumb, Keefmaster, Hashdealer

Basically "weed funny 420 lmao" the album. There's some really fun, fuzzy, and sludgy riffs here, and I really enjoy the way the vocalist uses his shrill and coarse singing as another layer on top of the general drone. I will say that the weed references get a bit to heavy-handed by the end, and some of the tracks fail to land structurally due to their length. Definitely a banger to put on while doing homework or something of that ... read more
