Katseye members are incredibly talented, no doubt about it. They all have incredible voices and are insane dancers. However, I believe they are wasted potential, judging by how HYBE is treating them as curated products rather than actual artists. It’s such a shame because they have big record labels backing them up, but I feel like the members don't make the final decisions when it comes to performing their music.
But that’s how the industry works for these artists, right? ... read more
Two bros chilling at the studio, releasing throwaway tracks for shits and giggles.
It's a lil goofy album, sometimes funny other times cringy but not harmless at all. Yuh.
She's Megan Trainor if she went to church with all of this gospel music.
I'm writing this review while listening to this, and to be fair it's a boring experience. I won't even talk much about the critics reviews because it's clear they were paid. No further discussion about that.
I like the concept of creating music for female empowerment. Hell, there are some great banger albums that focus on the beauty and the ugliness of femininity. But when she focuses only on ... read more
What tf goin on with @GabrielAOTY/Pomni, bruh?!
Just kidding, it's okay-ish.
The song sounds dated from the start and has a cheesy mix, but overall I don't hate it. Maybe it's because I'm used to corny lyrics, but it's quite entertaining and has substance to a certain extent. There are definitely worse songs, but there are also better ones.
It's not going to beat 𝘝𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘰𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦 by Falling in Reverse in trashiness, either way.
I never thought I would join the Quadeca fandom, but here I am. Words can't describe how in love l am with this song. What a great introduction.
𝘋𝘌𝘛𝘖𝘟, ONE OK ROCK's eleventh album, was released for their 20th anniversary. It offers a vibrant and energetic collection blending various rock influences with their signature sound, though it is very safe. The album ranges from the raw energy mixed with electro beats and hardcore riffs to the darker emo vibes, including some Latin influences.
The album explores themes of introspection, finding hope in bleakness, and a sense of urgency. It's clear they've been ... read more
Foster the People's debut album, 𝘛𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴, is a collection of upbeat indie-pop tunes that made an immediate splash. It's an album filled with warm and ethereal melodies, also known for its clashing lyrics and lack of cohesiveness.
We can't ignore the undeniable hit 𝘗𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘜𝘱 𝘒𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘴, with its more laid-back bass line and memorable vocals, which propelled the band into the mainstream. Tracks like 𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘢 ... read more

Thank you, @Brey, for recommending this!
Journey of a Beginner Guitarist sounds like what I expected: experimental, improvisational, and with nice riffs. However, after a few tracks, it becomes very monotonous and long. Even if all of them were intended to be raw performances, several aren't that entertaining and would benefit from further polishing.
I'm not the intended audience for this, unfortunately. I enjoy songs with lyrics or full instrumentation. I REALLY enjoyed 1983, ... read more
I'm on the hate train, unfortunately.
I thought I liked it because I heard it when it came out, but the truth is, it never really won me over. I think Doechii is very talented and creative, but this is really a TikTok song, and it saddens me that it's become one of her most popular. I wish I could defend this song, as it uses a beloved melody as a sample and evokes so much nostalgia, but I can't get past the chorus. The lyrics are boring, bland, and truly uninspiring; and the rap ... read more
𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 is Mac Miller's 7th studio album and 2nd posthumous release ever since his passing back in 2018. The album was recorded in 2014 at his Sanctuary Studio, around the time his mixtape 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 was released. It features guest appearances by SZA, Dylan Reynolds and his alter ego Delusional Thomas.
It's known for its live instrumentation, jazzy influences, hip hop integration and introspective lyrics. It represents a significant ... read more
𝘔𝘦𝘻𝘻𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘦, Massive Attack's third studio album, has a much darker and menacing tone and focusses on a trip hop sound influenced by post-punk, hip hop and industrial music.
It was a tiresome chore for all band members to create because of disagreements that threatened to dissolve the group, tensions among them and Andrew Wolve's reservations about including post-punk influences.
Because of Robert Del Nana's meticulous creative process, this album was ... read more
Am I...in Heaven?
I'd never heard of the Cocteau Twins before, so this review is my first impression. I was ecstatic, relaxed, and completely melted by the dreamy ambiance on this album.
This band did an excellent job of blending shoegaze and dream pop across a whole album, creating an airy and comfortable space for their listeners to return to at any time. The vocals are great, the use of guitars and bass is pure delight, and the overall experience is quite enjoyable despite the ... read more
Bruno Mars is the kind of artist who can release either groundbreaking music or complete and utter garbage.
This is just mediocre at best.
The end of a trilogy, the end of a name, and the end of an era. As much as I am a sucker for synthpop and r&b, I found this release to fall flat.
Don't get me wrong, I do like many of the songs in here like 𝘞𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘶𝘱 and 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴. But I'm afraid that even as consistent and sentimental it might be, Abel might not really be in his full potential.
Not only it consists of 20 songs + 2 interludes, each song is 4-5 mins long ... read more

I've been a huge fan of Tyler The Creator since Igor. But what truly hooked me was Flower Boy, and I've been listening to him ever since. That being said, I have given this LP a couple listens. I applaud this album's experimentation. The production is great, the lyrics are deep and catchy, and the features are quite nice (even though I am not a big fan of Sexy Redd, she did quite well).
When it comes to vulnerability, I prefer this to Igor ... read more
