This is better than BALLADS 1, that's for sure. The production is cleaner and fuller, and this is much more consistent and interesting when moving from track to track. The first half of this album was consistently good — in my opinion. Comparing it to BALLADS 1, it's much more catchy, moody, and have some consistency. It starts to fall off around after NITROUS, having a slurry of samey tracks again.

I feel like Joji is a talent that just needs to find his footing much better. His voice is the highlight in his albums, especially here. His performance in Mr. Hollywood elevated the track's enjoyability in an otherwise mediocre track. Joji needs to keep that consistency in his albums. I have high hopes since he seems to be back again from the void. Good album.
