I’d probably only listen to this if it came up in my playlist rotation, but there are a few nice tracks. Living in French-speaking Switzerland, this felt like a must-listen. I know this era is iconic for Angèle and for French pop in general, but since I wasn’t really on that wave at the time, it feels more familiar than nostalgic—having heard some of these songs in passing through friends. Still, it does carry that very recognizable 2010s pop sound, which as a 2003 baby is automatically a bit nostalgic for me.
