Kannalane is quite possibly my favourite song of all time. It's a masterpiece of vocals, lyrics, and Indian musical theory.
I know people on this site are ragging on this album, but I don't think this site has a huge Tamil user base, and to really appreciate this album in it's entirety you really do have to speak the language. It also helps a ton to keep in mind it's a musical and not to judge it as you would typical radio fare.
Yeah honestly idgaf this is a perfect album. Banger after banger. Amazing vocals, amazing musicianship, great production quality. Succeeds in everything it sets out to do.

So I think 15 year old me would probably have loved this album, but it really felt incredibly dull to present day me. I used to love listening to music like this as a teenager, but its really not what I reach for now as I'm entering my 40's.
The Alan Watts voice-over was pretentious and kind of is a larger metaphor for the genericness of the album.
The whole album feels like its trying really hard to sound like other stuff to me and still somehow ends up being unmemorable.

Although not really a remarkable album, it is a solid synthwave experience and perfect for listening to in the background. I don't really have much to say about it otherwise. It's not an album I'm always reaching for by any means, but it does rotate in every so often. Serviceable, but not much else. But sometimes, you're just in the mood for something that doesn't require a lot of energy to listen to you but that also isn't just watered down radio music, you know?
I don't really even know what I listened to but I loved it
It felt like Hatsune Miku meets Sega Genesis meets listening to a cult indoctrination I dunno
I loved the midi instruments used in this, the digital quality of the vocals, the Pendulum In Silico impactful drums - it was just sonically so cool and not afraid to get dissonant when it needed to as well.
Great album will definitely listen to it again and be checking out their other stuff.
