It’s clear that Hayley is still hurt, I just hope in future it’s channeled into something less milquetoast. Easy listening that is catchy at times.
Front loaded with Henry's slam poetry (which is not without charm), Family man might feel like a test of patience at times but well worth it once Armageddon Man comes around. Not everything on here lands; some of the instrumental tracks feel a bit aimless; but that familliar droning Black Flag guitar and forboding bass is always fun to listen to, even if its not the most interesting. The common man's lament.
A pretty hard hitting post-hardcore project. A few tracks wander into what you might hear in a 'hip' and 'trendy' clothes shop (turned down to a low volume as to not 'scare' the patrons), but the majority of the album is an example of simple music executed really well. Sick basslines and synths make a cool wall of noise. Didn't understand a word.
Majority of these tracks are the bangers one would expect from the band, with the more polarizing proto-Family Man stuff hidden at the end. Just some real good punk.
