wasn't excited for it.. didn't like anything from the trilogy really.. i get his talent and fanbase that love this dude but i saw 22 tracks and sat down and found myself checking how far i was along and it only be a few songs in.. it's just boring.. really really boring....
it's your standard indie rock album and almost every song you can name the band that inspired that song... I'm not excited for a part 2........
I have a ATR tattoo that says “Never Suffer Defeat, Never Falter” I love old metalcore ATR. But then they got bad, like real bad…. And then they do this album which is like FFDP (horrible band btw) but mixed very poorly, trash vocals and cleans. Some breakdowns are decent. Some riffs and solos are great, but all horrible placed and mixed. Title Track, opening track, and the last track are the only songs worth listening to imo and they only reason it even got this high of a ... read more
Ok I might rate this lower later and I’ll explain why. This album is good. It’s close to really good. I enjoy the vocals screams and cleans a lot. The breakdowns are amazing and caught me off guard. I’ve personally never even heard of this band and metal core and death core are the two genres I listen to most. The production of this album is also top tier. Now why I might have to rate lower later; I’ve been searching a lot for new metalcore drops in early 2025 and ... read more
Very 90s feeling, she has a great voice but the whole album just didn’t click a lot for me, feels incomplete. At times her vocals are a bit too soft but all around it’s a very comfort style album.
It’s like they wanted to be slipknot when slipknot was good but they just aren’t good.
It’s pretty good I still think. It’s just metalcore and it works. I’ve always been a decent fan tho
For what it is, it’s worth a listen and a few songs I even saved. But it’s not anything super special.
this album has some really great songs, but it feels like this is more like a mix of different singles to see what pops off more than a complete album.. it's kind of all over the place.
i really like this album.. i love when he sticks to his roots and also brings out a new element to it to stay relevant.. it's not amazing sadly but it's up there as of right now.. could get better with time though.
It’s good. Not great. Standard deathcore with some groove. I was honestly expecting a bit more from it but it will make my deathcore album rotation for a bit.
I listened to this on the way to work for my midnight shift while it was pouring down rain. So it’s NFS racing music and I hit 7 civilians, wrecked twice, got chased by police, finished 1st, and still didn’t get a girl in the end. Would recommend tho.
One of the most essential albums of the 90s. The grunge country with her own spin and emotions really makes this album easy to listen to and jam to anytime.
There is so much to this album, it’s probably one of the best death metal albums this year.
Easy listening, great late night relaxing album
