It's alright. I really appreciate the message this song and it's MV are trying to convey, and the beat is good. But this is the first time I'm hearing about Tom Waits and I don't think I really enjoy his voice. It's fine but not even close to other vocalists that Massive Attack collaborated with. I don't really get it. The song is fine, but I don't find this as much of banger as other people. It just doesn't seem interesting compared to other pop hits that came out in 2000's.
Don't let the overplay factor distract you from the fact that this is a well written song with fantastic production.
*My rating and review are about Only You, I don't really care about Turn Around tbh.
Right here is a hidden gem of 80's music. Well, at least for Americans, cause here in Europe it's considered a classic. The vocals are good, the chorus is great, and these organs and synths are sooo goddamn good. It's a shame this song isn't well known outside of Europe. If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend it.
