If it wasn't for Pablo, Maintenance and Too Easy, this'd actually be bad.

What the hell is this. Every song is fundamentally lacking something and just when you thought it was getting somewhere... It doesn't do it. Shame on you and your ideals, Kan¥e We$t. The quality of this album really is tailor made for a scam-ass Stem player you initially sold it on.

Maybe it's a far too generous rating, but fuck it.

See, despite all of Kanye's despicable bullshit, he can clearly concoct a good idea or two in his mind. His sound can still bring out a reaction. And his lyrics can still mean something (although not much).

The songs here range mostly from fun to meh. Nothing in the extremes. The highlights include Stars, Beg Forgiveness, Paid, Do It and maybe Burn. Carnival is kinda overrated, and the title track, Culture, is clearly missing ... read more

Yooo, this is GAS! Em came close to his peak.

Very strong, immersive, eerie beats. Fantastic concept. FIRE AF FEATURES (HOW DID JID ALMOST MATCH EM ON FUEL?!) and overall great fun. Special shoutouts to Fuel, Houdini, Antichrist and Tobey.

However, as much as I don't wanna say it, we didn't need Somebody Save Me, or even Temporary... The album could've well concluded on Tobey.

This is Kanye West's one final artistic ascent.

He got his shit together, he once again assembled an ensemble of epic proportions and cooked up a tour de force.

This album has so much fantastic gospel content that if I were more vulnerable, I'd get closer to Christianity probably. But the dead cold atheist in me still appreciates Donda for what it is.
