Red Velvet has really high peaks when it comes to quality, but sometimes they just seem so lost in everything. I wonder if they are really trying hard to make it look like the group's personality is just to throw some random gimmick with weird concepts on their titles by purpose. Don't get me wrong, the girls are so talented and the vocals are on point most of the times, but The ReVe Festival is just a mess.

Highlights: Zimzalabim, LP.

5 tracks, 5 personalities... Idk, I just feel like female soloists from kpop are doing mostly the same thing musically nowadays.

Highlight: Call it Love.

To be honest, she has done everything she did in this release on her previous album "It Doesn't Have to Make Sense", and it's not bad. As a person trying to become an artist I really connect with her being inspired on her favorite TV show to create, and even though in my case I really dislike Stranger Things, I can contemplate totally different meanings for the songs.

I have never really liked Madonna's voice, so I kinda foresaw the way this album would go down with me and I wasn't wrong. Some songs here like "Dark Ballet" and "God Control" could be great, but turned out terrifying cause while the production is great the singing is just not it, if I could put it in a word it would be "soulless".
Not that she's wrong in making (or trying) an entire album just to be praised, it's just hard to know that we have to swallow it just ... read more
