the hard 808s and the sleepy voice of lucki makes this a chill yet exciting listen. sounds even better in a car.
maybe one of the worst most insufferable albums to sit through ever. the annoying vocals over the most corporate sounding instrumentals makes me want to fill my ears with cement so i never have to hear this again. there isnt even 1 song on this that isnt a task to sit through. if you showed the aliens this album they would fucking blow us all up with super death beams.
Haunted Mound and Sematary get a lot of hate and i think its because people are confused and don't understand it, but when it clicks you ask yourself why you were so against it at first. Its hard dirty loud trap that's also ethereal and atmospheric all at the same time? Genuinely ground breaking for what it is and people not understanding it i feel just proves my point.
although this is probably my personal favorite album Tyler has put out i just don't think it holds up as well as some of his other projects, like there are albums he's made that have better production, better lyrics, better story telling, etc. but that shouldn't disregard how important for his career and enjoyable this album is.
