After multiple listens, Vanisher, Horizon Scraper is a testament to a mix of atmospheric pop and vocal talent. Quadeca decides to make a style of music that I personally have never seen before. Songs like THE GREAT BAKUNAWA, AT A TIME LIKE THIS, and CASPER are all incredible tracks, but the album as a whole has a section near the middle with some forgettable tracks such as DANCING WITHOUT MOVING and NATURAL CAUSES. DOPAMINE proves Lil Tecca's ceiling remains incredibly high when he challenges himself. The highs on this album are some of the best in his entire discography, such as Dark Thoughts, One Night, and Tic Tac Toe. These highs though are weighed down by a bloated middle section filled with generic trap beats and pop rap, such as Sure of It and X-Factor. It's a good album that is fun to listen to but not much to take from it but a couple tracks in the long run.
