Great value Steve lacy drops a mid at best album. The instrumentals are pretty good the majority of the time, but then he comes in and brings it down with corny lyrics and not-so-good vocals. Maybe I’m not a big fan because I’m not a college aged horned up white girl. I probably wasn’t the target audience.
An actual good example of how political music should be done. While some songs fall short because of eh delivery at times, it is overall a very good album with great production and themes.
My introduction to fakemink, and he definitely didn’t disappoint. The production on this is absolutely amazing. The vocals and the repetitiveness of some of this album did kinda rub me the wrong way, but it’s definitely a good debut for him. It has me excited for what’s next for sure.
