Car Seat Headrest - Twin Fantasy (Face to Face)
100

It’s really hard to compose my feelings about Twin Fantasy into a review. It’s difficult to fully describe what it puts me through and how it makes me feel, so all I will say is that I think it is perfect. Everything about it is impeccable, there is not a single thing I would change. Every track is perfect, every lyric is perfect, every melody is perfect, every instrument is perfect. I don’t like the idea that this album was made by people that exist, I like to think it ... read more

Radiohead - OK Computer

I listened to OK Computer one time and knew I needed to go and buy it on vinyl, which is exactly what I did. I really am obsessed. It's incredibly ahead of its time and has this imposing, intense sound that sticks into the deepest parts of my brain. There is sometimes this slight feeling of dissatisfaction because I wish some parts were expanded on even more or held on to longer, but I suppose that's a testament to how infectious this album really is.

Robyn - Sexistential

This is my fist Robyn album so, after looking at some other user reviews, I can only imagine how incredible the rest of her discography is and i'm super excited to hear. Fo what it's worth, i found Sexistential to be a fun time. Sure, it's not mind blowing or particularly expansive for the genre, but it's a pretty fun dance-pop record that keeps me coming back and sticks in my head.

Grunge isn't really a genre for me, but this is still one of my favourite records from it. God I love women.

Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures

I adore this dark spacey soundscape, it feels like i'm driving on a motorway in the middle of the night with incandescent streetlights. I think the vocals take some getting used to, but that semi talk-singy tone is kind of a staple in alternative forms of rock like this. Ahead of its time for sure.

Faces - A Nod Is As Good As a Wink... to a Blind Horse
70

it's a pretty pleasant record but there's nothing particularly standout about it. It's more of a time capsule of those early 70s rock tropes.
