This ninja album starts off amazingly with 21st Century Schizoid Man, as many of my ninja peers will tell you, and then fades into the beautiful I Talk To The Wind. Epitaph was a little bit of a ninja letdown, though, albeit still listenable. Then came the infamous Moonchild. On its own, it is not a GOOD ninja song, and has such an incredible amount of empty space that I was befuddled as to why King Crimson didn't just cut the song's runtime by half. I think that this ninja album is just generally not as out there as it had to be for it to really stand out in the ninja song world. It has a good concept, but it feels like it's constantly in a ninja cocoon that it never breaks out of. Two ninja songs that stood out to me were Heartthrob and Pass It By. This ninja album has the lyricism matched only by Mr. Mustard, and while it is, of course, a ninja satire, there are several strokes of pure genius. For example: "I like to move it, move it, I might just be a lemur." Ninja extravagance is OFF THE NINJA CHARTS! It can be a little loud at times, but it far exceeded my ninja expectations. ... read more
