THE INSTRUMENTALS ARE THERE!! THIS COULDVE BEEN SO GOOD!!
Unfortunately this album reads like a long text message lyrically. It’s one thing to have corny “poetic” lyrics as she’s known to have, but some of this is straight up BAD corny. The flow is there, yet it feels like she’s trying to squeeze the lyrics into an entirely different song. It almost seems like she’s making a parody with too many buzzword analogies. What can I say, TS loves her nouns over ... read more
the production and melody was there, but this lyricism is genuinely BAD. it’s like a 3rd grader wrote this, and i wrote way better stuff in third grade
The first track wasn't anything special until the kickoff, and that starts to set the tone for the rest of the album. It's girly, young, and ambitious, but innately privileged. It gravitates towards feelings of someone self-absorbed rather than simply feminine and confident. Many of the tracks seem to recycle lyrics to a point where the songs seem as though they blend into one big song.
Despite its MANY flaws, there are a few tracks I would not completely cover my ears if I heard them ... read more
masterpiece. cannot stop listening. haven’t listened to her in years and this brought me right back to loving her.
some moments in songs that felt boring but it didn’t take away from the overall picture.
people that are upset about the beat switch have yall ever listened to bohemian rhapsody 😭…
every song is an emotional rollercoaster and her synthesia aids this albums “vibe” a LOT
genuinely underrated, this was a great listen. i love how full the instrumentals are whilst keeping that airy-spacey sound.
cunty and glittery anthem pop!!
Chappell has so much potential but some of these songs feel like overproduced laziness when i know she got wayyy more in her.
either way this album was pretty fun but i wish it didn’t seem so generic at times.
i want to see her take a bigggger risk production wise.
her lyricism and her voice needs NO CHANGE.
i love when women.
some fun busy boisterous background tunes
having not ever listened to The Black Keys previously I think this is a decent introduction to their overall sound and im excited and intrigued to hear more of their discography (especially vocals)
i hear that this is a very different take from their original Blues-rock sound they are known for, but I personally don’t think it fully ruins them much as a band and it rather shows how they can expand as a group.
i was surprised to see some rap ... read more
drill. low effort. low quality. production okay at times but this charter school boy is insufferable and ruined all potential. painful listen.

GIRL WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ORIGINAL PLOT OF THE MOVIE ⁉️🔥
in all seriousness i genuinely enjoy the production of this. upon first listen of Acknowledge Me, i was like “did tyler help make this???”. of course its not nice to compare but god did I miss the more rnb energy to her energy. Not even, I just missed seeing her put out somethin that wasn’t a diss track to everyone that’s interacted w her on twitter.
for the actual music, i enjoyed the composure of Urge as ... read more
really cute debut, feels very light and airy. seems like they’re trying to go the Newjeans route with their sound and it can be pretty cliche beat wise, but i think they could get to a good point eventually.
love me some midwest emo <333
autumn birthday and trevor wong are my favs thus far. album is definitely going in my repeats
a fun album overall !! i really enjoyed the tone of the album and the energy placement throughout. loved that it stayed moderately consistent in theme while also being relatively diverse instrumentally. Vocals feel a little bit lazy at some points but it doesn’t take away from the album or even the track overall. gonna have some good repeats for my summer playlist this year :))
LOL the fact it’s not even listed on Spotify currently and that it’s literally machine gun kelly is all i need to know about the quality of this album before seeing any ratings.
After actually trying to listen to it on youtube this is just really weak. it’s a joke right? only reason i give any points is cos im gonna still stay for Trippie and ive enjoyed some solid “sad boy emo rap” albums in the past. this will never be close to ALLTY 1-4 tho.
Instantly seeing the album cover for their finale it looks like a highschool photoshop project lol.
Sum 41 been together well over 20 years producing tons of skate punk anthems. Knowing this album is also their final written goodbye, I was a bit disappointed. The blend of their tracks felt pretty repetitive and generic. This album made me question “these are the guys that made Still Waiting? this is it..?”

Their overall instrumental sound is great but J Mascis’s voice kind of sounds like hearing my dad groaning early in the morning…
this album does not seem like it was meant to be full of radio-hit singles like her previous works but is still a good representation of her continuing maturity as an artist.
there were a lot of tracks on here that were kind of flat production-wise but her vocals try to make up for it. the tone for the album is a little over the place adding some country elements towards the end tracks while also remaining very artificial..
Me, Lighthouse, and Rock Hudson are probably her best off this album.
as an album with 21 tracks you got so many opportunities for creativity and storytelling yet this album felt so.. boring. It had some interesting moments but overall felt like another generic bland album that I’ll be hearing my local mall play.
Kind of disappointing knowing his prior Jazz work was really something beautiful. I love him as a pianist.
sensual and warm; this album had some enjoyable serene songs but wasn’t anything too special. i was sold with the first two tracks but my endowment fizzled in and out after Phenomenal. It wasn’t anything particular in Ooh La La that would keep me intrigued alongside a few others.
Despite my personal criticisms with the weaker tracks, I can certainly see what earned the best tracks their spot as a 2024 Grammy Nominee.
