Its way better than I remember, actually good enough that I can say comfortably say its a big step up from "Melted", which I think is a pretty mid album. Instead of a pack of forgettable songs with 2 bangers, we've got a pack of bangers with 2 really mid songs. Ty Segall's writing just straight up matured over this one album, its wayyy more clear and feels actually confident in being melodic or emotional.
It makes Goodbye Bread a first pretty good album from Ty in my opinion.
