I'm lowkey concerned for their mental health, though I might be just a little bit paranoid
PPC was actually my getaway to psychedelic music. I remember when as a teenager I've a got a little phase for my rock songs to go kinda heavier or more punky. Finding sympathy for some simple garage stuff. In the middle of it all, youtube of all places decided to drop on me "Found God in a Tomato", seeing the names combo I couldn't skip it.
Well, just imagine my first experience when the most trippy thing before crumpets I have heard were Pink Floyds. Also the goats, just ... read more
I've heard few of Iceage songs before and I have liked them. The album itself actually is better than I have expected. I've imagined just a neat, entertaining thing. But I've got a quite memorable strike of good songs instead, can't complain.
Pretty much one of my all time favourites in punk in general. There's something satysfaingly simple and honest about this album and I can't really put my finger on it.
But if I had to take my shot, I would say Light Up Gold gives me pleasantly close feeling to one I get on a good forest walk, or when I throw rocks into the lake and watch em bounce away nicely. It might be a complete miss of a description and even sound stupid, but I can't help it, this is how it makes me feel ... read more
Blame it On The Weather hits diffrent on what it feels like the hottest day so far this year in my hometown
Huh, I've decided to finally poke onto some jazz, I was never a big of the genre by itself even though I respect it. Maybe jazz fusion in particular caught my attention a little bit better, and Casiopea is also that one band that managed to make me curious about it.
I had way more of fun that I have expected, I can see it growing on me in the future once I'll get more comfy with the sound
Decent pop with good sense of cozy trippyness. Its not going to stay with me but I think some people will love it
Could have been my 100th relisten, and its still one of my favs in noise rock. BAMBARA really creates here an intoxicating atmosphere, blurry, bluesy punk with a strong kick, the dark, gothic and westerny touch, ominious sounds and eerie production fitting for a suffocating small town. It does have a pretty straighforward personality.
Its also a catch if you like story driven albums, cause the band pretty much focuses on pretty dark stories based around said town, and they're quite strong ... read more
Almost a dance-punk after a series of car crashes and with a vibe of a fever dream.. Strange and kinda heavy but I like it
So he really acted like a dick and talked all about how he owns the genre just to drop this? I guess, its not horrendous, but are we serious?
I've already forgot over half of the album

Its so long since I've heard InnerSpesker the last time, and since I have found myself in mood for Tame Impala, I'm here once again.
I gotta admit, it was quite a time ago but I've actually have found this album kinda plain, now its the complete opposite, especially that I have literally forgot it for the most part. Outside of "Desire Be Desire Go" which actually was always one of my fav songs of his, even though its not among his best for ... read more

My feelings for Currents haven't really changed, I still think its a pretty nice album with few gems placed all over, its just not taking my breath away. It pretty much sounds as if Kevin ascended with psychedelia creating a perfect blueprint with the deepest and coolest sound ever. Its like sitting in the room full of colourful lava lamps and a personal disco ball.
I'm honestly feeling closer to the more crunchy side of the genre, but I can see why it works.
Also, I ... read more
I wanted to like it more cause I have found Cuddlemonster quite interesting, though at the same time I am surprised I've liked it at all, so its good, cool actually. The album itself is repulsive and in your face, or rather it feels more like a headbump. Still, it goes undeniably hard from time to time, 15 minutes of pure and total insanity.
Also its kinda stupid and silly but thats a compliment.
The only real problem I have with this genre is how songs tend to blend together easily ... read more
Very warm and cosmicly exotic, its a very pleasant sound that reminds me heavily of Stereolab actually. The genre mashup is pretty much spot on
Fav song: His World
