Stellar first impression, I haven't felt its lenght even for a while, everything was beautiful from the first to the last second
Fav song: Blood and Fur Upon the Melting Snow
The first part is playing when generic green aliens start raiding your house.
The second one kicks in after you pull out the shotgun

Keeps growing on me quite a lot. I think Lonerism is going stay as my favourite Tame Impala's album, even after I will get to Currents as the next relisten. It just goes real hard in its own really unique way, he just rocks. Also there's Elephant, quite possibly my favourite song in his entire career
Thx @discofwave for the rec
Unfortunately, I didn't really liked it. I respect the album's attempt at experimentation, but there's more of ideas than any clue how to execute them. Good moments tend to drag a bit to much, as I think few songs might work with better approach. There are occasionaly messier parts where everything sounds simply wrong. Songs also tend to be unnecesarrily long, few got those "stretched interludes" slapped for half of their ... read more
This sound comes quite natural for Pond, feels like band was supposed to eventually go this direction. Its cool
It feels like this album is trying to offer way more than it does can. Its both good and pleasant, you can bump into few bangers, honest. However I still can't get over the feeling how it tends to leave me unsatisfied, as if there are brakes that pretend a solid part of WIRED to be more than decent.
Its kinda forgettable and I have no idea why.
Fav song: Deadweight
I have listened to Under Color so much, that I feel funny knowing it took me so long to actually try their other stuff.
So far I feel more fond of their more garagy sound, doesn't mean I do not like this one much less.
They might grow on me is one of my favourite depressive bands, their concrete-cold is wonderful.
Fav song: Pontiac 87
I wanted to catch up with the beloved uh... Goose?
Then I've suddenly got jumpscared by a cowboy nudes.
Anyway, I loved it
Thx @ZonerG for a rec
One more listen and I'll start breakdancing because of this. Compro does have absolutely incredible atmosphere and grooves, gotta say its one of the albums that sound exactly like the cover. Also its straight up what I want from this type of music, especially that it sounds like a mashup of all artists I found myself fond of recently.
Fav song: Flyby Vfr
Edit: 88 -> 90
I would be crazy to not finally get in touch with Aphex Twin's music since I found myself diving into electronic scene recently quite a lot, and it grew as one of my fav genres. Its almost as if I refused to try cheese on pizza. Or as if I have never tried soda with ice.
I really like it, its a damn good album. But I doubt I can say anything new about it
Fav songs: Xtal, Plotemy
Extra points for her age I guess.
Also its hilarious, but it seems like I am not the only one who enjoyed this one more than Bully
Gem is already 1 year old. One of my most relistened albums from 25 and I still find it impressive. Its got a strong kick and its charm. It took me way too long to realize, but this album will satisfy average fan of Squid, there are pleasant similarities all over. Thats probably one of the big reasons why I like it so much. He's not a copycat though
Anyway, I wish this man a succesful career
Fav song: Nails
Its phenomenal, even though my ears bleed a little for how stupidly noisy it is.
Kinda feels like more groovy and acidy Lightning Bolt that was thrown inside a blender. Dwyer still got it, not only he's already on a streak this year but keeps raising the bar. Pretty much one of his best.
If this was released as Osees album, everyone would be dying over this like crazyyyy
Fav song: Exit
Not as mesmerizing as rest of their albums, especialy that it doesn't feel nearly as creepy, mysterious or mostalgic like those. But still, its atmospheric and memorable. Few songs are absolute peak ngl
