This sounds like a collection of his old stuff which is kinda nice. It feels like a deluxe of Nectar more than a deluxe of Piss In The Wind. It's interesting that he's releasing songs that he has had for like 5+ years on his youtube channel but never on any streaming platform and packaging them as brand new
the amount he talks about fucking my bitch i would have figured it was his bitch at this point
2 NIGHTS IN LA was an amazing addition to the album, the second half of the song made me feel like I was levitating both SWIM and Jada's verses were amazing
No More Lies into She Knows Too Much into I Did This To Myself is a crazy run but its unfortunate that those were his pre-release singles and everything else on the album was worse than those. Still my favorite project to date by Thundercat and very pleased with it on the high
If he made a full album in the style of Sojourn, he might become unstoppable. Piss In The Wind had really high highs and really low lows. Might grow on me more as time goes on though as his other albums have
I really want to like these guys, it just feels like they're doing too much with each song. A lot of these songs feel like 2 different songs which I think causes the album overall to suffer
the people complaining that its too experimental would not survive a jpegmafia album
Rich Brian has matured and really found his own sound over these years. Im glad he stuck to his word saying all album sales goes straight to his vocal lessons because in this album it definitely shows a massive improvement from his past vocals. I have a strong feeling this album will go severely underrated due to 88rising not promoting or giving the care their artists deserve but this album is definitely worth a listen through.
