Absence

From Filthy Tongue of Gods and Griots' fundamentals & ideas were carried onto the next album & with care, refined what was already a chaotic wall-of-sound into something greater. A harsh & wasted landscape filled with nihilistic & anti-religious lyricism & further expanded on, like politics, Turntablism, Dark Ambient & Shoegaze. Turning something like a bleak & empty landscape, into an industrial city that's devoid of life & soulless, monotone & grey. Absence is probably one of the most unique albums in the Hip Hop medium that has to offer; sonically & it's why I love it so much
