Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us

when will drake respond 😭

update: lol the heart part 6 is so much bullshit 😭😭😭😭

P.E.E. - Now, More Charm and More Tender
89

PEE predates the second wave of emo/midwest emo. It's been almost twenty years, and More Charm still sounds fresh as hell and doesn't sound dated. I'll always find myself coming back to this album and just pinpointing some of the things I missed, whether instrumentally or lyrically. I'm happy to say I own this on CD before everybody was gawking about the band name

Heavy Vegetable - Frisbie
90

I wonder if Rob Crow ever realized that frisbie is spelled as frisbee, not frisbie. Doesn't matter, this album is an essential to math pop, fucking amazing work this band did within their lifetime. It's catchy, poppy, and hits you in those sentimental areas time to time

Sprain - The Lamb as Effigy
100

All this need's is your undivided attention. My god like; this is really beautiful. I imagine it as like Daughters: You Won't Get What You Want but more avant-garde than it can ever be. This is blissful and mysterious and terrifying in all the right places, everything about this is something that I can barely put into words. Wonderful ass album

Unwound - Repetition
100

Groovy as fuck. I couldn't imagine a better post-hardcore album than something like this like; tracks shuffle from awe-inspiring to crazy anthemic, lightning in a bottle songs that are almost too perfect. Even with the flaws of this album, this still manages to blow me away and keep me on my toes. Especially the second to last closer and the closer itself like; WOW

The Wicked Farleys - Sentinel and Enterprise
90

I find it ironic how this is the only well documented Wicked Farleys album to have a place, time & release date. They recorded in the same recording studio as Weezer how crazy is that!!!

They took their sound they did on Ken Theory & used it as blueprints to make something distorted & noisy. It's so damn good like; this is a Math Pop & Noise Pop essential. Listen to this shit now because it's on Spotify

Travis Scott - UTOPIA
85

Let's be realistic, throughout these 5 years, NO ONE could've expected this album to drop with such a change & shift in sound like this. This album feels like the post-album of Rodeo. This thing is just as ambitious as Rodeo in this regard. Wonderful album

Mountain - Climbing!
70

I've only just listened to this album just because of Mississippi Queen & that on Regular Show episode, but anyhow, the first impressions & after impressions of this album are fucking HARSH dude. This thing was sorta ambitious to me but now, it's just there, just a staple of that damn 70's Hard Rock era, this thing didn't even stand out that much besides just that 1 track. Kind-a sad, and mid

good artwork tho

Lync - These Are Not Fall Colors
91

Sometimes this album has me reminiscing of like- "I wish I got to see this band live" because you've seen those obscure live videos posted on Youtube & you can tell that no. 1, the music is fucking amazing no. 2 it's even better with a live audience & just seeing them, live & hearing there music & getting to literally feel the vibe of the zone is only a once in a lifetime. I've been bumping a lot of this lately & it's for sure a necessity in the Emo genre, & ... read more

Radiohead - OK Computer
100

Most likely anymore from Rate Your Music, or any other music rating website had this album on #1 & this is most likely the album that got everyone listening to Radiohead.

Now regarding if this is even a 10 nor less a 100, I'm not even sure anymore, it's kind-a overrated now in my eyes, sure it's amazing, awesome & great & magnificent even, but I just can't help myself as I progressed through this, music listening journey, expanding my music taste & getting to find the albums ... read more

Young Fathers - Heavy Heavy
83

If this was made by Frank Ocean you guys would be flies over shit on this

Lil Yachty - Let's Start Here.
85

Please go Flaming Lips Yatchy PLEASE GO FLAMING LIPS!!!! PLEASE!!!!! 😭😭😭

Frank Sinatra - In the Wee Small Hours
73

There's only so much Frank Sinatra that could be put on here without it becoming really really tedious. First time, "wow yea this is good", later on you literally forget & start humming to other songs that are more rememberable (i do that sometimes yea), & you reach the end & think, "wow that was good" but it's a modest good.

Where am I going with this? This album is alright, probably overrated in some circles but 49 minutes of Frank Sinatra is too much for me, ... read more

The Dillinger Escape Plan - Under the Running Board
93

This EP fucking goes rock hard, balls to the walls ass hardcore shit. It makes me wish that Dimitri should've stayed in DEP, it makes me wish that maybe, there's an alternative universe were DEP still had Dimitri all the way till 2017. I find this EP better than some or MOST of the albums out of DEP's discography. Sad this EP is only 7 minutes, such a great introduction. This should've stylistically carried this sound to there debut but, it just doesn't sound the same :(

Fugazi - The Argument
93

They did a Unwound thing!!!

Modest Mouse - Strangers to Ourselves
72

really misunderstood, honest

The Flaming Lips - Zaireeka
100

I wish a physical vinyl or CD of a perfect mix existed. This album is such a drug-trip to go through, it’s like going through a fever, a fever dream, SOME level of sickness that just caused hallucinations. I think smoking pot or hitting a bong to this album would be devastating to the fucking body. WAYNE PLEASE RELEASE A PERFECT MIX ON SPOTIFY PLEASE!!

C418 - Minecraft - Volume Alpha
99

It's too fucking peaceful for it's own good, fucking shit man. Clark is so beautiful it made me cry, maybe that's resting on the nostalgia side of things as I was growing up between the early & late 2010's. Regardless, this album is not only one of the best video game soundtracks of the decade. But maybe, fucking maybe, be one of the greatest ambient albums of all time

Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon
95

The Wall is better, I do not give a FUCK

The Dillinger Escape Plan - One of Us Is the Killer
85

This album is an amalgamation of the 2013 Alt. mainstream & the abrasive Mathcore, Avant-Garde Metal & Alt. Metal that The Dillinger has always been known for. This album is very striking, I love the Jazz-Rock drums on When I Lost My Bet. This album just fits in perfectly & I'm absolutely happy that at a point in time, Dillinger Escape Plan got their accolades that they've deserved
