This absolutely flew by. What an emotional rush of mournful rage. Still a newcomer to metalcore and never stops surprising me how necessary this genre is for helping me feel through all the anger and helplessness that comes with witnessing evil and tragedy.
Listening to this album feels like riding a horse hard through the windy wild. And yet have you ever heard a smoother saxophone?? The track list so dynamic yet consistent. At first I didn't believe it was a casual listen and maybe it's not, but the more I listen to it, the tracks really start to meld with my reality in such an ecstatic way. I listened to it again during my morning porch-sit today and it made everything feel so alive.
Incredible storytelling, almost like watching a play. What painful, scathing, delicate pop. This has to be the mother of all breakup albums.
