I cant stop listening to this, a project of such wide range that still feels so cohesive. It might be his best yet as an artistic piece. A perfect end to a perfect trilogy and the crown jewel of a diamond studded discography
tight flows, great wordplay with questionable (but fitting for a 16 year old fitting in with OF at the time) lyrics. a fun tape from start to end and a sign of the greatness to come
unbelievable flow, reminds me of ocean wisdom. he mentions in shaytan how he used to listen to x and ski which is clear in the experimental nature of this tape. very expansive and doesnt play anything safe. coults impresses in his feature, matching the tempo well.
such false emotion, trying to emulate some lil peep or travis barker shit. mgk is terrible on here and the songs feel so cheap. 5 points only for being embarrassingly bad and trippie sounding okay sometimes
A collection of perfect songs, stung together to make a piece of art. It evokes such emotion while still providing the musicality to be super enjoyable and bouncy at times. Exploring themes of love, loneliness, sexuality etc., it is a captivating ride throughout. A welcome addition to frank oceans near perfect discography.
not a fan of the sounds theyre going for, or the vocals on display
van vogue is trash and takes up too much run time, the rest are great and nostalgic
i dont know why i enjoyed this so much. the man who made 2 of the worst albums ever i think made something good here
