very reassuring in tone, as in the album is quite comforting in nature. also, the more synth balladesque songs are transcendental and some of the best music i've heard from the last decade

sophie's sound sticks out from her contemporaries. the late producer makes tunes that don't conform to most pop stereotypes, and if they do, they are stereotypes she invented herself
